Research on the Planning of the Urban Ventilation Corridor to Alleviate the Haze Events Taking the planning of Xixian New Area as Example

Along with China's rapid economic growth and the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, which has brought tremendous pressure on the environment, the problems of environmental pollution such as the haze events and the urban heat island effect are increasingly serious. Based on the deep analysis of the causes of the haze events and the relationship between the haze events and the urban planning, considering the advanced experience learning from the previous researches of Japan, Germany and other places, this paper puts forward a complete method in planning and design to weaken the impact of fog and haze. First, to create the urban ventilation corridor through adjusting the urban ecological and structural layout. Next to set up some urban cold air generation area in the urban planning in order to solve the problems of cities which are usually in the static wind environment. And then, to connect the the river system and the surrounding green, which can be taken as supplementary areas of cold air, so as to improve the urban microclimate environment and the urban ventilation environment. At last, the planning of ventilation corridor in Xixian New Area is taken as an example to study on the planning of the urban ventilation corridor.
