Abstract
Li pegmatite outcrops were found in Okue granite, Miyazaki Prefecture, which composed of quartz, K-feldspar, white mica, tourmaline, microlite, and zircon. Hambergite was found in druse clay of one of the pegmatite. Chemical composition of hambergite was investigated by TEM with EDS and EELS, further preliminary quantitative analysis was made by EPMA. Qualitative analysis of hambergite shows Be, B, O, and F, quantitative analysis for F is 9.7 wt%, which corresponds to OH/F = 1. The unite cell parameters refined from the powder XRD dare are: a = 9.653(1) b = 12.352(2) c = 4.437(1) Å, which is well agree with PDF01-086-0886. Chemical analysis of tourmaline shows that transparent crystal in pegmatite pocket is elbaite with 30% of rossmanite composition, blue transparent crystal in blocky zone is mangan bearing elbaite, and black translucent crystal is in blocky zone is schorl.
