Benstoniteのカソードルミネッセンス

抄録

Benstonite (Ba₆Ca₆Mg(CO₃)₁₃) shows a characteristic cathodoluminescence (CL) in a red region,  which can be assigned to an impurity center of divalent Mn ion. The wavelength of an emission band centered at 627 nm is slightly longer than those of emission bands in calcite and dolomite, suggesting its strong crystal-field (Dq) around Mn ion comparing with calcite and dolomite.
