Shock recovery experiments were carried out on two plagioclases (labradorites) that include exsolution lamellae (An55Ab42Or3) and that include no exsolution lamellae (An64Ab34Or2) up to 36.8 GPa. Recovered samples were analyzed by powder-X-ray diffraction measurements (p-XRD), infrared (IR) and Raman spectroscopy. Obtained results may indicate that exsolution lamellae does not affect on vitrification by shock compression.
