This is a study which focuses on the firm specific training in China. By analyzing the labor law and another law on foreign investment company, it found that Chinese government is trying to advance the value of Chinese employment by promoting the training through the law system. In order to understand the firm specific training in detail, a case study on Panasonic company in China is used. Panasonic company is well known in Japan for it's specific training. The case study found that Panasonic company also uses a similar content training program in China.
Through the analyzing form Chinese law and the specific training system of Panasonic company in China, it is concluded that firm specific training is not only decided by the balance between the investment and return (the labor's wage and labor's marginal product) , but also affected by the institutional requirements in China.
