Abstract
The purpose of this study is to show the effect of energy consumption and neurotic fatigue by keeping the same static posture for three hours in the six different postures.
The subjects were six healthy females.
The auther placed the subjects in a state of supine position to bed for 30 and Flicker value. After that, the auther held them on the same experimental position for three hours and measured oxygen consumption, blood pressure, pulse rate and Flicker value every 30 minutes, and repeated the same manner with other 5 different experimental postures.
The auther estimated energy consumption from the oxygen consumption.
The results showed as fallows:
1) There were no change in oxygen consumption, blood pressure, Flicker value and Ea value on the Two way Analysis of Variance in six postures in process of time. But the pulse rate changed in sitting position on the chair only.
2) The pulse rate in sitting position on the chair increased from 18% to 24% after keeping the same position for 30 minutes. And those values were more than in other postures on 5% level of significance.
3) The systoric blood pressures in sitting position on the chair were lower than in other postures on 5% level of significance.
4) Flicker values were increased or decreased from 2% to 5% in all experimental postures.
