Abstract
Most mental disorders are considered cured or to have settled symptoms within three years. However, it has been reported that patients with mental disorders recognized as occupational diseases tend to have a longer period before they are considered to be in remission or to have settled symptoms and have a lower rate of return to work. Measures to address these issues include a compensation system for reduced wages due to light work after returning and reducing the gap between disability compensation and compensation for absence from work. In addition, maintaining a good doctor-patient relationship is necessary to determine whether the patient is cured or has settled symptoms.
