Abstract
It is expected that a Labor and Social Security Attorney (Shakai Hoken Roumushi) will play a role in advising on the appropriate treatment of workers and employment support in the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) they are involved with, utilizing their expertise in human resources and labor management. However, in supporting reinstatement after personal injury or illness leave due to mental health issues, collaboration with professionals from various fields beyond one’s own expertise becomes necessary. Prior to this symposium, Labor and Social Security Attorneys attempted to establish and operate a collaboration system, where they receive support from a team of multi-disciplinary experts, structured as a two-tiered “remote” model. On the day of the symposium, a report was presented that included insights gained from this attempt, as well as the benefits of utilizing IT technology.
