Abstract
This symposium was organized to explore the legal and practical challenges in ensuring adequate disconnection from work, from the perspectives of occupational fatigue research, labor law, and personnel management. Focusing specifically on the “right to disconnect” and “rest intervals between shifts,” the symposium aimed to examine the future direction of working time regulations. This paper presents summaries of the presentations and the subsequent discussion.
