Abstract
This research focuses on the creativity and introspection of designers. The purpose of this research is to observe outstanding designers and formalize their knowledge and know-how as design knowledge. The results of the designers' research will be compared with the users' social emotions to elucidate the relationship between the designers and the users. In a preliminary research, questionnaires and interviews are conducted with designers of various genres. In this experiment, ethnographic interviews are conducted with four outstanding designers who can understand and realize the tangible and intangible needs of users. Exploring the creativity and introspection of outstanding designers, it elucidates how designs that move their hearts are created. This is analyzed comprehensively using the KJ method. As a result, the designer's story and design process and the previously implicit relationship between designers and users were visualized.
