Abstract
In order to improve the high performances of RC structure, the authors have already reported the modified theory and its experimental verification as to the upper limit of design axial compressive load-carrying capacity, and in addition clarified the procedure allowing a high ductility, the recovery characteristic of deformation by virtue of "the self-induced prestress." The present paper is especially emphatic about the flexural load-carrying capacity of RC beam with the high-strength rebars under the double-flexure.
