In this article, we propose to use corrected pressure Poisson equation (PPE) and corrected pressure boundary conditions with the explicit Runge-Kutta (eRK) schemes for the computation of unsteady incompressible flows. In the previous studies, the projection method of Chorin's type have been used with the eRK schemes. It is pointed out for these schemes that the pressure reconstructed from scaler function suffers from decreased temporal accuracy because these schemes do not satisfy additional order conditions required to the coefficients of RK schemes. We show in the present study that for the proposed eRK-PPE method, the difference in the coefficients of RK schemes changes the divergence correction terms of the PPE and the term which approximates the normal component of the local acceleration at the boundaries.
