Japan is facing the new stage of economic assistance to encourage the human resource development. Urban planner is one of the important human resource to alleviate comprehensive problems of developing countries, however, there are remitted results for the assistance achieved by Japan.
This paper, thus, aims to clarify the advanced experienece of this field in Europe taking a case study of DPU as an advanced model of urban planning education system for developing countries.
