Abstract:Recent tendency toward advocacy planning can be regarded as an imperative orientation due to demise of traditional approach of master-plan-driven city planning paradigm and tight financial constraints in municipalities. A breakthrough in the city planning can be possible by introducing evidence-based planning. Real estate sciences can contribute greatly to this academic evolution in city planning.
