特集「激甚化する水災害リスクへの対応」にあたって

抄録

As global warming seems to accelerate unusual climate, rainwater-related disasters such as flooding and sediment disasters recently become more frequent and severe. This special feature focuses on the increasing risk of waterrelated disaster and how we are attempting to cope with this. Eleven papers are included and their topics cover from scientific examinations of the increasing risk to policy issues such as the basin hydraulic control and closer cooperation between river improvements and land use measures.
