Recent flood damages in Japan have increased the need for measures in housing design to reduce the inundation damages.Therefore, ‘The Guide on Inundation mitigation Measures in Housing Design’ was drawn up and released in July 2021 by Housing Performance-improvement Committee of The Japan Federation of Housing Organizations.
