Discuss the change of the local areas made by the transition of its residents, industry types, etc., targeting dense urban areas in the 23 wards in Tokyo, where are loosing their unique features. Based on that, focus on some cases that created and expanded the new functions by leveraging the characteristic properties of each area. Also consider the values bring to these areas, and how we enhance it. ＊ “local area” means sphere of people’s daily life in this case.
