This paper analyzes and discusses actual situation of and expectation for revised special measures law of empty house by original questionnaire survey, targeting 33 regional core cities. There is strong expectation for new category of ‘poor managed empty house’ and it is forecasted that as a main policy of municipality, a watch and intervention of problematic empty house would continue rather than reutilization and market circulation of it.
