Abstract

Administrative organizations and the mass media has been transmitted the disaster information by assumption that the resident understands all disaster information. However, the resident do not receive such information which has given one-sidedly, and do not used it for the evacuation activity. It is because of idea that various information which is exchanged on a social network in daily life are influenced greatly as an opportunity to the evacuation activity.

It is important to review the construction of regional disaster prevention from a sociological aspect to construct the effective regional disaster prevention system. In this study, the author presents one aspect of the regional disaster prevention from the viewpoint of social capital which is characterized by the social network, trust and the cooperation.
