A research of Information and Communication Web Services on the Internet Support Software for Senior Citizens

Abstract

Social information is important for our life. But e-mail and web browsing is difficult for senior citizens of pc beginners. We have been engaged in the e-namokun project to develop easy-to-use software for pc. The software keyboard for inputting text is implemented in the e-namokun software. The user interface of this software is designed for senior. In this paper, we suggested senior citizens use web services on the new e-namokun2.0 software. There are new various services such as blogs and twitter on the web. We consider that these web services give senior citizens more interesting at the pc seminar.
