Abstract
As WISs become more and more complex, it turns to be vital to adopt suitable development methodologies and team structures to ensure the success of Web projects. Understanding the evolution pattern of a WIS is considered to be important in adoption of suitable development methodologies and team structures. In this study, we put our focus on the enhancement pattern of WISs, classifying WISs into several categories based on their system characters, we show a typical WIS evolution pattern for each category.
