Abstract
The development of IT ICT will lead to the integration of computers and networks, which results in open network-based computing as a social infrastructure. In this respect, the development is considered not only as a tool but also as an environment, which brings a structural impact to a process of value creation. In this sense, the development should be considered as paradigm shift and initial analysis of anticipated impacts caused by the paradigm shift on corporate activities be worth doing. Specifically, definition of business model is discussed in comparision to business system and business plan and further analysis of business model from standpoint of element model is followed by using auction business case in Japan.
