Knowledge Creation in Open Source Software Development Communities

Abstract

Novel organizational processes are observed in the open source software development. In this research, analysis of the development communities and implication to business orgnizations are considered from the view point of knowledge creation.
In the development communities of the open source software, the software as public knowledge are created and the capability to develop softwere as organizational knowledge is accumulated.
