Abstract

Great interests have been shown in Legacy Migration recently. It is not possible to deny that this simplified assertion implies a critical error. After analyzing the transition from mainframe-based systems to open systems from 1980 to 2004 and dividing it into three phases we will clarify that the simplified assertion does not reflect a reality and propose some advice of IT utilization in the coming future.
