Abstract
Based on the recent surveys, most important issues in Japanese corporate management is "human resource development." In particular, the weakness of Japanese corporate HRD is leadership development for next corporate executives.
Many large companies have recently challenged to develop such programmers in the corporate university. However, there are some problems such as uncertainty of strategic positioning and content of program itself.
This paper aims to analyze the status and issues on the leadership program for next corporate executive in line with strategic human resource development (SHRD).
