A study of the present condition and a subject on SCM by using a simulator

Abstract

SCM reduces stock of the whole supply chain. Moreover for it is able to make a lead time shorter, it brings all suppliers in a chain many profits. However, in fact Application of SCM goes wrong in many cases. The cause of many failures is in trade-off between portion optimal and whole optimal .Since each supplier is an independent company, it wants to make the profits into the maximum in the short term, but it is necessary to take whole profits into consideration in the long run. So we study the degree of the balance in both profits by using business game.
