Stability of social networks and information spread

Abstract

Dealing with the Heider's stability and Newcomb's stability as social network stability concepts, the author investigates the extent of the information spread in social networks. The author reveals that a social network with Newcomb's stability has higher tendency to have information which spreads over the whole social network than that with Heider's stability.
