Abstract
Our study aims to understand mechanisms to maximize the performance of intellectual activity and accelerate tool and system development for practical uses. In this study we made a specific focus on meetings which are considered to typical intellectual interaction and tested applicability of transaction-based management. First we investigated transactions in meetings using transaction based evaluation model. We sorted out meetings based on the indicators which represent characteristics of transactions and surveyed effects of activity indicators to performance indicators based on a series of correlation and regression analyses. Based on these considerations, we proposed a managerial model for increasing intellectual productivity of meetings and reinforcing project management capabilities.
