Abstract
This paper shows that activities of the soft systems methodology are formally regarded as an organizational knowledge-creating process by imbedding a concept creation stage before the stages in systems thinking. We then define an organizational knowledge-creating process as a social system that is a network of communications. It is shown that improbabilities of such communicative processes and the media to overcome them play an important role to emerge the essential dynamism of a knowledge-creating company. And it is pointed out that the systems methodology can be such a medium.
