Characteristics of the cloud computing service and their impact

- Case Study of Microsoft's SaaS -

Abstract

We hear buzz word as the cloud computing with a general newspaper and magazine well recently. But, the actual situation is not yet clear. Especially, we are not able to explain in particular the use of the service of the cloud computing in the commercial business. This report compares the on-premises computing with cloud computing by the products of two type of Microsoft to understand a summary. Also, it estimates influence in the viewpoint of the end user and IT vendor for future business, and it proposes the business of an IT vendor affected most.
