Abstract
ODPG (OpenOffice.org & OpenDocument Format promotion group) is an organization founded in order to promote such migration to the OSS productivity software in private enterprises as well. The technology evaluation workgroup (tech-WG) of ODPG discussed how to evaluate open-source productivity software as alternatives of proprietary software. This paper reports "the migration guideline" made by the tech-WG, and several points to evaluate such software in order to make a successful migration.
