Abstract
Recently, dramatic structural changes that are occurring in the field of mobile wireless constitute a unique ecosystem. And, although "open" was seen better as consumers therefore not impeded vertical constraints, its structure is showing signs quite different. DoCoMo's i-mode that was preceded by this change was "close". And it took the approach that has tight control over the various applications. Initiatives such as the Apple currently dominate the market, located on the extension of that. They configure the ecosystem that was characterized by "close" at various levels. So, I analyze such changes how this had occurred, and also consider the possibility of Japanese companies.
