Study on the Effectiveness of ERP System Implementation

From the Viewpoint of Adjustment Process of To-Be Business Model

Abstract

It is often said that usage of application package in Japan is not much as United States and Europe. Some particularities of system implementation and operation management in Japan can be considered to some of the reasons. The authors analyzed formative factors of satisfaction about system implementation, and as a result, “degree of fit or gap" seems to be one of the important factors. In this paper, the authors discuss about sense of meaning about “degree of fit or gap," and adjustment process of determine customizing scope. In admission, business-IT alignment studies are explained in this paper, in order to describe a framework that the authors would propose.
