Abstract
New types of institutions and services suitable for the Aged Society are expected to be introduced, and the government also proposes a new concept for peoples' collaboration, “New Public Commons" which means various people voluntarily work together. However, the new type of collaboration may cause conflicts among the co-workers about objectives, activities and the way of management.
The key questions are how to share the needed information among various co-workers and how to design an efficient communication network among them. Here by using a modified cooperative board game, “FORBIDDEN ISLAND", we simulated the co-workers' behaviors and observed the relation between the volume of communication and the productivity of collaboration.
