Abstract
The term Cloud has been around for quite some time in corporate IT. However, there are still few companies which have incorporated the Cloud in their systems. We have conducted empirical analysis employing corporate data to examine the following: What are the obstacles to the Cloud's introduction? Although the Cloud brings with it various benefits, how does the Cloud's introduction format differ based on user expectations? Analysis results indicated that lack of understanding regarding the Cloud's benefits were a hindrance to its introduction. In addition, it was also discovered that user expectations for information sharing and management reform were a driving force behind the introduction of the Cloud.
