Abstract
In this research, the cost-benefit of traceability system is to clarify. Authors chose the case of oyster traceability in Miyagi which was supported by Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan. From the interview (November 22nd, 2013) of a key person about the traceability system construction, the data of costs have been collected and summed up. The benefit based on consumer's willingness to pay (2-10 Japanese Yen) will be calculated. As a result, the cost-benefit analysis of seafood traceability System and cost reduction-analysis of recall will be reported.
