Abstract
To facilitate the use of knowledge management system (KMS) is an important issue for the management of it. The previous researches have focused on the use of KMS, but they have taken little account of the differences of how to use a KMS and the differences of their combination. KMS usages include not only to reuse stored knowledge and to enter personal knowledge but to improve existing knowledge creatively and to update old knowledge based on experience. In this research, we classify KMS usage into some types and examine some combination patterns which have the potential to lead to different effects. Through a survey, it is shown that the effect varies by combination patterns of KMS use.
