Abstract
In order to make a breakthrough in stagnant e-local government movement in Japan, we did some preliminary analyses on current status and disturbing factors against e-local government and Business Process Re-engineering in local government by utilizing micro-data from "Survey on Current Status of Wrestling with Reform of Local Governments' Service" conducted by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in fiscal year 2016.
