Abstract
In January 2001, the Cabinet established the Strategic Headquarters for Promotion of Advanced Information and Telecommunications Network Society (IT Strategy Headquarters). Since then, this information strategy headquarters has been centered on Japan's ICT policy. In 2013, the IT Strategy Headquarters was renamed to the IT Comprehensive Strategy Headquarters, and its role was changed to form a cross-ministerial strategy. This research analyzes budget information published as "Budget on formation of advanced information and communication network society" for those headquarters. From 2001 to the present, not only the name change of the organization, but also changes such as the change of regime has taken place. Within such a temporal transition, we confirm the trend of the existence of the budget.
