Abstract
In this paper, we describe tool support for an algebra-oriented approach to model-based enterprise engineering, particularly for splitting and merging an organization with Organization Construction Diagram (OCD) of DEMO. Previous work proposed a set-theoretic formalism for OCD and its algebra, which provide practical model manipulations e.g., merge and diff over OCDs. It is however far from use in practice because the previous work requires manual translations between OCD and mathematical representation before and after model manipulation. Furthermore, the model manipulations must be computed by hand. To overcome the limitation, our tool is designed to automate those steps. By a tool automation, model manipulations with mathematical rigorousness can be performed efficiently and available to more users unfamiliar with mathematics or DEMO.
