A Study of Modeling with Role Models and Career Anchors

Abstract

In recent years, the diversification of occupations and work styles has led to a significant change in people's values about their careers. It is important for individuals to acquire higher skills in order to develop their careers independently. Therefore, the reasons are investigated why undergraduates go to graduate school, where they can learn more specialized skills. The author's reason for entering graduate school was largely due to role models, so a model was created using Mizoguchi's (2020) research and career anchors. It is considered whether the factor that could be role models from modeling.
