Characteristics of Advanced Financial DX Examples and Implications for Financial Institutions

Abstract

In recent years, DX has been moving around the world due to the development of IT and AI. However, looking at financial institutions, regional banks and shinkin banks are showing a bias in the progress of DX. In this paper, we clarify the challenges faced by a shinkin bank in the introduction of IT, take up DX cases of Hokkoku Bank and Fukuoka Financial Group, and analyze the factors behind why they were able to carry out reforms more willingly than other organizations. As a result, we were able to find the challenges of IT and the key to promoting DX.
