Development of Management Education Materials with Decision-Making Records using MG Online Game

Abstract

In recent years, many game-based learning programs have been introduced. In the field of business administration, many business games with sequential decision making, where each decision may change the player's environment and the decisions of other players, are difficult to reproduce the game history, making it difficult to conduct appropriate reflections.

In this study, we take "MG Online" as a game with sequential decision making and present the teaching materials developed to record its practice. We show that players themselves can reconfirm the rules and look back on the management strategies and decisions set up in advance by recording their own practices, and that teachers can also check the level of understanding of their students.
