Abstract
A possibility of telework as a strategic solution for the enterprise management issues was investigated. A survey was conducted to the companies which have adopted telework, and the results of the survey indicated that telework is a useful method of solving the enterprise management issues as a means of business process reengineering (BPR) with a high level of satisfaction by teleworking employees. The survey results also showed that there is a significant difference in consciousness level for management issues. Major factors causing the difference appear to be employee's position (telework-promulgator or adopter) and teleworking experiences. The results suggest that continuous education to make employees understand telework effects is important in order to adopt telework for BPR. This study also proposed a possibility that a telework enhances the organizational strength through the surveys.
