Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to theoretically analyze organizational citizenship behavior in telework. As the telework population is increasing in Japan, several problems are arising from it. However there are no comprehensive strategies to resolve the problems. This paper studies the effectiveness of the organizational citizenship behavior by introducing the concept of organizational citizenship behavior in telework. The followings are two suggestions being made from the study. The first suggestion is that organizational citizenship behavior that is different from the office environment by the difference in work space and the use of ICT that could occur in the telework environment. The second suggestion is the importance of organizational citizenship behavior to teleworkers.
