Abstract
In recent years, crowdsourcing has received attention as a new means of utilizing talented human resources. In the meantime, it is said that there is a lack of highly skilled human resources. Especially there seems to be a lack of "data scientists" who can analyze data for business. We conducted initial researches as to whether talented human resources with skills in data analysis exist in crowdsourceing and what are the points to utilize such talented human resources. In this research, we posted simple data analysis tasks on a crowdsourcing service. Ten crowdworkers participated these tasks and submitted deliverables. As a result, it was confirmed that there are indeed capable human resources in the crowdsourcing who have the skills to do data analysis. We also drew some lessons how to utilize these talents most effectively.
