Abstract
With the spread of the Internet, the number of workers in a distributed environment has increased. Methods of communication in a distributed environment are different from a collocated environment. In a distributed environment, a support for communication of workers is needed. Often times, people check the status of other party before they start communicating. We have paid attention to such needs and have developed a web-based system called "C-WORK", which enables workers to check each other's status. In this paper, functions of "C-WORK" and the future research plan to test the efficacy of the C-WORK are described.
