In this paper, a polarization controllable array antenna is proposed. The antenna shape consists of the multi layer and 2 port feeding. The antenna allowing switching linear polarization between horizontal and vertical is demonstrated. The excellent design flexibility of the “Both-Sided MIC technology”is effectively employed in forming this type of antenna. The characteristics of this functional antenna are discussed by using simulation results. Consequently, it is verified that the linear polarization of the proposed antenna can be successfully controlled.
