SF6 decomposition gases that generated by PD high voltage has been investigated in on-line detection and analyzed by FT-IR. In this paper, we are able to analysis sampling of SF6 decomposition product in off-line detection. We investigated the influence of long time exposure of discharges and absorbance peak of decomposition gas product in small chamber. We could prepare and measure detection its (SF4,SOF2 or SOF4, and SO2F2) were monitored by FT-IR. The results indicate that CNT gas sensor could be useful as absorbent to detect SF6 decomposition in off-line detection.
