E-voting schemes were proposed to replace traditional paper ballot-based voting to gain more security and efficiency. During the last thirty years several e-voting schemes were developed. Most of the schemes satisfy basic security requirements like anonymity of voters, privacy of ballots etc. However, the more stringent conditions of receipt freeness (RF), vote selling resistance (VSR) and coercion resistance (CR) are not so easy to achieve. In this article, we survey the existing schemes and make a comparative study and relationship among RF, VSR and CR.
